Brow Lift (Forehead Lift)

The forehead or brow area is an important aspect of your overall appearance, and if you are unhappy with the appearance of your forehead due to the signs of aging, such as wrinkles, lines and creases, or if your brows are too low,  then a brow lift may be right for you. Michael Schwartz, M.D., a board-certified facial plastic surgeon and diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery offers facial surgery for those patients who live in and around Los Angeles, Pasadena and the surrounding communities of California who want to eliminate the signs of aging in the forhead for a more youthful and vibrant appearance.

What is an Endoscopic Brow Lift (Forehead Lift)?

A forehead lift or brow lift elevates the eyebrows and corrects sagging in the skin of the forehead and upper eyelids. Dr. Schwartz utilizes the latest endoscopic techniques to lift brows to lift brows and to reduce wrinkle lines that can develop horizontally across your forehead, as well as those lines that occur on the bridge of the nose and between the eyes.

A brow lift can improve frown lines, which are the vertical creases that can develop between the eyebrows, while also raising sagging brows that are hooding the upper eyelids. Dr. Schwartz is particularly skilled at placing your eyebrows in an alert and youthful position. Dr. Schwartz uses meticulous incision planning in order to restore a youthful look. If you are interested in learning more about whether or not the benefits of a brow lift are right for you, then contact us now to set up your consultation with Dr. Schwartz.

What Are the Benefits of an Endoscopic Brow Lift?

Endoscopic brow lifting includes treating the muscle that create frown lines between the brows.

As we age, unsightly wrinkle lines may tend to appear on the forehead. Frown lines between the brows can make an individual look angry or “too serious.” In addition, skin relaxation may cause the eyebrows to drop, hooding our upper eyelids and making us look tired or sad.

If you are bothered by these signs of aging in the brow region, a brow lift may be right for you. Contact the offices of Dr. Schwartz now to set up your personal brow lift consultation.

Am I a Candidate for an Endoscopic Brow Lift?

If you want to make an improvement in the appearance of your brows and forehead, then consider an endoscopic brow lift. With a combination of meticulous attention to detail and meticulous technique, Dr. Schwartz produces excellent brow lift results for his Los Angeles area patients, resulting in minimal to no visible signs of surgery. What is the Brow Lift Procedure?

Dr. Schwartz performs minimally-invasive endoscopic brow lift surgery. Unlike conventional open brow lift surgery, which requires a large incision, an endoscopic brow lift is performed through small incisions placed behind the hairline.

Using an endoscope (a small tube with a miniature camera on the end) and small precision instruments, Dr. Schwartz is able to elevate the forehead and eyebrow tissues and reduce the muscles that cause frown lines. To complete the brow lift procedure, a small device no larger than a dime called an ENDOTINE™ is placed to fix the tissue in the new position above the hairline. The ENDOTINE™ is a small device resembling a carpet tack, which dissolves within three to six months.

What is the Endoscopic Brow Lift Recovery?

After endoscopic brow lift surgery, the forehead is wrapped overnight and the dressing is removed on the first postop day. There is some swelling and bruising that lasts for 1-2 weeks, but minimal pain. Dr. Schwartz will give you specific and detailed instructions to guide you through your endoscopic brow lift recovery process.
